Eminem recently stopped by his Shade 45 radio station for DJ Whoo Kid’s birthday bash and he ended up giving some details on his upcoming “Relapse 2″ album. “Me and Fif did a couple of records, couple of months ago in Vegas, one song for my record and another for his,” Em revealed in an interview.

Em then went on to give details on the 50 Cent collab. “We just wanted to like, I just had an idea to like ‘Yo, why don’t we do something we ain’t done yet.’ And kinda go back and forth, we’ve kinda done it on other records but not to the extent of what we’re doing on this one.”

Before he left, Eminem also talked about production for his upcoming LP. “The way that it’s going now, K’Naan has two [produced] tracks on the record and Just Blaze has four, possibly five…I definitely feel like I’m in a little different space right now. I don’t know, with the last record, it felt like a lot of it had to do with me being sober…With Relapse 1 — a lot of that album, I wanted to rap at fire and do punchlines.”

This may sound corny, but I don’t care. I don’t know what I’d do without my friend Gwyneth. She has been there for me through all of this latest scandal surrounding me. I was so happy to see her in New York. She’s been helping me in so many ways. We were just just joking around yesterday singing, “Keep smiling, keep shining…knowing you can always count on me…for sure…that’s what friends are for!” I am so frustrated with all of the lies and rumours about my life. My attorneys have sent a warning letter to Mrs. Rodriguez’s attorneys. One more comment about me and their firm will be facing a defamation lawsuit. I don’t play around! I hope you are having a better week than I am having. Oh…I almost forgot. I have been working with Britney on a special project. She has made so much progress. I cannot wait for you to see it! It’s da bomb!

Paramore tour dates postponed

Paramore regret to announce that all dates beginning in San Francisco this evening through October 9th in St. Paul will be postponed due to a case of laryngitis for singer Hayley Williams. The tour will resume in Chicago on October 10th. Tickets for all postponed dates will be honored at the rescheduled dates listed below. Refunds may also be claimed at point of purchase.

50 Cent album Before I Self-Destruct

According to the news, Hip-Hop star 50 Cent revealed in a radio interview that his latest album Before I Self-Destruct will be out in stores in June 19. Making his own remarks over the upcoming album 50 Cent said that his third album is better than his previous two albums Get Rich or Die Tryin and The Massacre. It is also known that the album will feature production by J.R. Rotem, Rich Harrison and also Timberland. Lets hope for the best! Details about 50’s upcoming album Before I Self-Destruct are yet to be revealed.

According to the news, Rap star LL Cool J is in negotiations to to represent popular lip balm brand, Chapstick while Hip-Hop star 50 Cent is in negotiations with Glacéau Vitaminwater. The move is believed to be a strategy of LL Cool J and 50 Cent who are seeking more popularity as celebrities. (Why shouldn’t they?) LL Cool J is also reportedly searching to endorse a vitamin supplement for the fitness/training market, especially that in Dec. 2006 he released his book Platinum Body. As for 50 Cent he will certainly star in the grape flavored Vitaminwater energy drink’s first national TV ad campaign now that he is also an Glacéau’ investor. The rapper also has in mind to release a new energy drink this year, following the debut of Vitaminwater energy drink, Formula 50.

Anyway as for the music side, Hip-Hop Celebrity 50 Cent will executive producing LL Cool J’s 13th album titled Exit 13, which hits stores in May while 50 Cent’s album Before I Self Destruct is due to hit stores in June.

It’s an obvious fit. LL has been licking his lips for 20 years. They’ll get to speak to people who normally would not pick up Chapstick.
